Why

Step 1 of 2

Uninstall Protection isn't possible on ChromeOS

ChromeOS doesn't let any extension stop itself being removed, so Chromebook doesn't have Uninstall Protection.

What still protects you

Your Safe Wall still needs your partner's approval or a cooling-off timer to switch protection off, and your partner can be alerted to what you visit.

Good to know

For a family or school Chromebook, a Google admin can force-install extensions so they can't be removed.
