LeadMeNot vs Covenant Eyes
Covenant Eyes (its app is now called Victory) is built around Screen Accountability: screenshots reviewed by AI and reported to an ally, plus blocking of explicit websites. LeadMeNot keeps someone in your corner and gives you control over exactly what's blocked, before it happens.
Choose LeadMeNot if you want to choose exactly what's blocked (apps, just part of a site, keywords, schedules), protection on Chromebook too, and a partner alerted when a rule is broken.
Where Covenant Eyes fits better: If you want an ally to see screenshots of what was on your screen, images and video included, Covenant Eyes does that today. LeadMeNot reads text only (addresses, searches, keywords and app names); image detection is in development.

- Bring over your block list, then go furtherAdd each site from your Covenant Eyes custom list as a website rule. Then go further: block the apps you choose, just part of a site, keywords, or put things on a schedule.
- Invite your partnerYour Covenant Eyes ally can be your LeadMeNot partner. Add a partner: alerts come by email, and the free LMN Partner app is optional.
- Check it worksType just the word leadmenottest (no .com) into your browser and press Enter. If it's blocked, you're protected.
- Run both while you decideOn iPhone, use LeadMeNot's Safari Extension rather than VPN protection while Covenant Eyes is installed: Covenant Eyes filters through a VPN on iPhone, and two VPNs can't run at once.5
