LeadMeNot vs Freedom

Freedom is a focus app: it blocks distracting websites and apps in sessions synced across your devices, with Locked Mode so you can't end a session early. LeadMeNot blocks too, and puts a person where the timer is: your partner is told when a rule is broken, and Safe Wall asks them before anything is loosened.

Choose LeadMeNot if you're changing a habit rather than protecting focus time, and want a person, not a timer, standing between you and loosening a rule.

Where Freedom fits better: If you mainly want focus sessions for work or study across lots of devices, Linux included, Freedom does that well.

Questions

Is LeadMeNot or Freedom better for me?
Choose LeadMeNot if you're changing a habit rather than protecting focus time, and want a person, not a timer, standing between you and loosening a rule. If you mainly want focus sessions for work or study across lots of devices, Linux included, Freedom does that well.
Does LeadMeNot have focus sessions?
Not in the same way. Rules are always on, or on a schedule you set, rather than sessions you start and stop.
What will my partner see?
Alerts when a monitored rule is triggered (which app or site, and the words that matched) and your evening reflections. Not your full browsing history.
